Supermodel/Actor Sam Sarpong and Vanessa Curry from the Pussy Cat Dolls were mobbed by fans while shooting the 2013 Spring Fall campaign for the celebrity high end jewelry line, KD Luxe Jewelry. This new hot jewelry line can be seen worn on celebrities like Mark Walberg, Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, and Eva Longeria. The owner of KD Luxe Jewlery, Kathleen Largen has also designed for top designers including Guess, Brighton Kenneth Cole, and DKNY. When asked why she choose the two as the face of her line she did not hesitate to state, “My line is all about being positive and good energy while still holding a hip and cool feeling and that is exactly what Sam and Vanessa represent. Sarpong who has an incredible year of 2012 just continues to progress, currently he is the host of Ryan Seacrest’s new show AXS Live. Next year he will co-star with Tiny Lister in the feature film “No Weapons Formed Against Us” in the mean while fall time will bring the super anticipated film “Trigger” featuring 90210 star Matt Cohen. Next month he will start shooting a horror film called, “angels landing,” In the film he plays Joshua, who is a positive rap star. In contrast to that, Next month Sam will also start filming the comedy series “Average Dad”co starring actor/writer Brent Goldberg from van wilder fame and my name is earl star actress Jamie Presley. He will play a Young hot dad who all his son’s teachers have a crush on. Vanessa too, has been doing some great projects. Just last weekend Vanessa Curry was seen on the hit show CSI New York. Next year she will be seen in the up and coming film, “Bench Seat” and “Dirty Laundry.” These two stars are definitely on track to be one of Hollywood’s hottest entertainers in 2013. In addition SAM and Vanessa have been seen wearing the line on some of the hottest a list red carpets Sam recently wore the pure inspiration collection to the Bvlgari watches event last week hosted by Drew Barrymore at the Rodeo Drive store. . During the day Sam and Vanessa were shot by thirty different paparazzi photographers while fans followed them all day. Both were shot driving up and down Rodeo drive riding in a brand new Maserati provided by Mirani Motors. Along with all the press attending the event, TMZ came out to show some love as well. Nick Cannon DJ’ed a star-studded night for his birthday at the hot spot Play House this past weekend. Nick, who turned 32, played an assortment of dance, electric pop, Top 40, and dub step at this star-studded event as the crowd partied all night long. The night was hosted by That 70’s Show and former MTV host of “Yo Momma” Wilmer Valderama who came out on stage once the clock struck midnight with fireworks accompanied by a very beautiful host who brought Nick a birthday cake. Once the cake arrived the entire crowd broke out with the “oh so familiar” song each of us hear once every year, “Happy Birthday.” During the whole night stunning models bombarded the stage. Also in the house was Supermodel and Wilmer’s co-host on MTV’s “Yo Mama” Sam Sarpong who also co-stared in the hit film, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” with Nick Cannon. As Wilmer, Nick, and Sam partied on stage other celebrities and VIP guests including pop star Kristina Debarge who stares in the up and coming film “School Dance” in which Nick directs alongside Wilmer as a co-star who joins them. Other celebrity appearances were Efran Ramirez from Napoleon Dynamite, Quinton Aaron from the Oscar winning film, “The Blind Side,” DJ Wreck from MTV’s Wild N’ Out, pro Skater Kareem Campbell, and Swedish pop group Stockholm Syndrome showing up to have a good time, mingle with some of the most influential people in entertainment, and most importantly wish one of the best entertainers a Happy Birthday! Mariah did not attend, although she was by Nick’s side every second during the day at his glamorous charity event which took place in Santa Monica. The night came a close and Nick left Play House with a hand full of gifts in a brand new 2013 Ferrari.

Sam “Future” Sarpong climbed out with a handle full of stunning women draped in gorgeous gowns. Two of the women were Nat and Jenn Bashari, “Future Star Twins” and costars on Sam’s “Life of an Entertainer” documentary/biography. If anyone knows how to show up in style Sarpong knows how to and he does it graciously. Once they stepped out paparazzi swamped them with “flashing lights. “Coming into the main door of the club was a huge photograph of supermodel, host, and rapper Sam Sarpong himself. The photo was of the October premiere issue where Sarpong was on the cover. Large amounts of people moved from the main room to the outside hallway seating area that over looked the front of the club. People sat above and looked over the railing to see who would show up next for the red carpet. Tons of young Hollywood attended including “Make it or Break it” star Chelsea Hopps, and America’s Next Top Model Kacey Leggett. Actors Darius Love, Matt Cohen attended. Young and Restless star actress Brenda Epperson said on camera, “Sam is a great guy.” She continued, “He is a very humbled and blessed individual. One thing he knows how to do is pull a female. His VIP section was crammed with over 100 people eighty percent of them being women. This was a great “Who’s Who in Hollywood event.” This was a big night at RNB Live, not only was Sarpong headlining the event but the owners of the club Greg, Ted, and Felipe were celebrating the clubs 20th Anniversary and Greg’s birthday. The epic night was put on by Revere Lifestyle Magazine and Mirani, a luxury car company that costume makes cars for celebs. Sam said, “Performing at RNB Live was great. Ted, Felipe, and Greg are like family to me. 2012 brings in abundance of work and play for supermodel Sam Sarpong, seems like in 2012 Sam Sarpong is the man to be. He has some extremely impressive events coming up. Vogue Italy will be sponsoring its first ever fashion show in Africa on October 5th-7th. Sarpong will be headlining the event. It will be located at the Moeven Pick Ambassador hotel. These will be the only men fashion shows, and Sam will be headlining both. Sam is extremely busy these days, and he is creating a profound name for himself. As soon as he returns home he will be going through preparation for LA Fashion’s week. Sam Sarpong comes up big with two crowd pleasing performances for his opening weekend of his tour. Opening night was held at Las Palmas of Hollywood. The event was put on by LG Enterprises, which promotes some of the biggest artists in the game. Prior, LG Enterprises threw a party for the known powerful voice Mary J. Blige. Courtesy of Thousand Oaks Range Rover Sam pulled up at Las Palmas in a brand new 2013 super charged Range Rover, crawling out in style with over 35 girls in his entourage. In addition his security guard Big Ant, Young Nice, who produced majority of his album, his best friend Brian who is part of the management team, and his executive producer Keyvos who is also a member of Sarpong’s group, “The League”. All of which were decked out in BOY LONDON gear from head to toe. Once in the venue all you saw were hands waving heads bobbin, and massive groups of people singing along to rapper Sam Sarpong’s newest hits of his “Muzik of tha Future” album. Sam had the pleasure to host and perform at Las Palmas, where the crowd’s favorite song was, “Loose my mind.” Celebrity guests who attended were Inessa Alex, a European pop singer who was discovered by David Foster when she was a youngster, King’s Magazine model Elizabeth Valaquez, Kayla Nicole, who was in last year’s top 5 finalist for Miss California, Takbir from Fort Minor, and the Future Star twins Jen and Nat Bashari. The second night was at Room 86 also of Hollywood; one of Hollywood’s hottest clubs in Los Angeles, CA. Sam arrived with singer from Dream Girls, Keith Robinson who is also featured on Sam’s song “Smashing in my Bentley”. Room 86, a party for the Jewish holiday was live, super packed, and had only a standing area where people swayed and boogied all night long. The best part being located below Eva Longeria’s restaurant called Beso. You could feel the intensity of the crowd, everyone was hyped especially the ladies. The female admiration clocked in high. Sam said, “All the ladies were out in full affect, and looking very beautiful.” With the night coming to a close, the owner of LG Enterprises Leo hugged Sam goodbye and stated, “I love working with you Sam, and you always bring a mix crowd and a diverse following. Sarpong’s career continues to soar with hosting, modeling, acting, motivational speaking for children, and music. Currently, you can watch Sam on AXS Live, or being the international face of an edgy rock brand named BOY LONDON. On AXS Live he recently interviewed Carly Rae and couple Mariah and Nick Cannon. Sam’s album will be out sometime next year, it is a must hear. If you would like to get a taste of what Sam has in store for you I have great news. Next month his single will be released. Some of his upcoming tour dates are; September 19th where he will be headlining and performing for the very prestigious magazine, LA Splash. On the 26th of September he will be at R&B Live Night Club which will be streamed live. They have worked with hot artist like Tyrese, Tank, and Jaime Foxx. On the 4th of October he will be jamming at Rolling Stone Bar and Restaurant and later on that month he will doing shows in Africa and Toronto, Canada. If you missed out this weekend don’t worry the “Muzik of tha Future” tour will go on until next year, so you will have plenty of chances to see Sam Sarpong Live.

FNO attracted Hollywood’s finest to attend a glamorous event hosted at the Beverly Center, in Beverly Hills, CA. Celebrity guests included but not limited to, Kendall Jenner, Kendra Wilkinson, Lucy Hale, and The Kardashians. Among these celebs was supermodel/actor and LA correspondent for Ryan Seacrest’s new show AXS Live, Sam Sarpong. As the cars flooded in, and the stars arrived the night began to simmer in. Sarpong showed up with one of his good friends, Brittany Bell who was crowned for Miss Arizona USA 2010. Bell’s newest gig is participating as a flush girl for the world poker tour. As soon as the elevator door opened Sarpong was bombarded with girls screaming, applauding, and shouting his name. Families appeared sprinting up to Sarpong expressing their special liking to him. Majority of the night Sam moved through the crowd elegantly, shaking hands and reconnecting with old friends that he has not seen in a while. Sarpong stated, “All of young Hollywood came, and it was really cool to catch up with them. Steve Valentine treated all of the celebrities like top priority, not to mention the fashion show was great!” The rest of his time was spent enjoying spontaneous conversation with actress/model Meagan Tandy, now playing a role on Jane By Design a ABC Family show, and smoking hot DJ Caroline D’Amore. The highlight of the night was watching Sarpong and ABC’s Pretty Little Liars, Lucy Hale getting down with a friendly free style battle in the parking garage. Sarpong was named top 10 male models in the world by Men’s Fashion Magazine last year, and crowned 1 of the 100 most influential people in fashion by the International Fashion Group. He has modeled for various designers such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, D&G, Jean Paul Gaultier, Jean Phillipe, and many more. Currently, he is the face of the iconic edgy rock brand named BOY LONDON.

In the 80’s and 90’s anybody who was a trendsetter or a music lover was wearing a brand called, Boy London. This line founded by Stephane Raynor in 1977 in London is a true journey of commitment and staying power. From Andy Worhol to Madonna to Boy George, everyone has embraced this edgy line. Now fast forward to 2012. This line after 30 years is even stronger than ever and now has the US buzzing; mainly in part to hiring international supermodel and actor Sam Sarpong who is originally from the UK as their Celebrity Model. The past year Sarpong has been seen wearing the signature Boy hat everywhere from Vogue’s Fashion Night Out to the set of his highly anticipated film, Trigger. During his 3 three month “Muzik of the Future” UK tour which also included a performance at the prestigious Notting Hill Carnival Sarpong was seen wearing Boy London. The tour also included a stop at London hotspot, Steve McQueen’s where Fashionaires’ owner Oliver Morris was celebrating his birthday. Stephane Reynor came by with the whole Boy London staff to support their new spokesperson whose performance brought the house down. Sarpong along with his entourage which included UK hit producers Deany Boy, Brit Boy and UK rapper C-John Star all rocked their Boy London gear.
Sarpong, who is one of the top 10 male models in the world stated, “I’ve been a fan of Boy London since I was a kid and I used to love their flagship store on Melrose in Hollywood.” With the international success of Sarpong’s campaign, lots of celebrities are wearing the brand. Pop singer Rihanna has been wearing the brand non-stop recently, from her music videos to talk shows, even tweeting personal pics wearing a signature Boy hat. In a recent interview for the show, Actors’ Entertainment, Sex symbol/actress and former Young And The Restless star, Brenda Epperson said to Sarpong,”I want to be part of your Boy London army!”.( This is an all female cast of young Hollywood actresses and models who attend events with Sarpong sporting their Boy London ) One thing is for sure as French designer Jean Philippe once said, “Everything Sam becomes a part of turns into a 100 million dollar company”, including but not limited to Dub Magazine, Tommy Hilfiger, Enyce and Ed Hardy. Keeping It Real In Hollywood With Supermodel/Actor Sam Sarpong!!

Hanging out for a week with a top model/actor doing a photo shoot in Los Angeles, I knew I would be covering a lot of ground throughout the Los Angeles area. I had my preconceived notion of what this guy would be like, but meeting Sam Sarpong completely blew that out of the water. With each stop I learned more about what makes Sam tick and why he is Hollywood’s next big star.
First stop was on Melrose for his cover shoot for Splash magazine with Playboy model, Sydney Barlette. They were styled by none other than the hottest stylist in Hollywood right now, Cosmo, who recently styled Nikki Minaj. Sam and Sydney shut down Melrose; everyone was trying to see what was going on. An Israeli tourist wearing a yarmulke actually stopped his car right in the middle of the street to film the action as Sarpong and Barlette posed for the edgy and sexy fashion editorial.
After stopping for lunch at the Hollywood hot spot, Mr. Chow’s, we headed across town to Sam’s next meeting with Pheed Media. Sam says Pheed is a company that specializes in working with A List talent where they can distribute exclusive items on their web pages such as tee shirts, music, exclusive behind-the-scenes features and concerts. Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift and Kanye West are allegedly some of the stars using this innovative technology to promote exclusive products to their fans.Sam Says~ “I am going to be doing some really cool, exclusive stuff with Pheed and my single, Boy London, will be released on Pheed accompanied by a music video next month. ( Sam is the current face of Boy London; Madonna and Boy George are former faces of this edgy punk rock European brand)
Sarpong, who recently hosted the BET Awards behind-the-scenes show, All Access, and currently is an LA correspondent for Ryan Seacrest’s new show, Axs Live, has had a very busy summer!
The day has wound down to 10:00 pm and we are now in the Hollywood Hills where Sarpong is in the studio with German pop star Inessa Alex and hot producer, Nelly, working on Fly, one of his singles from his soon to be released album, Muzik Of Tha Future. This album is a top 40. It’s fun, dance and electro pop featuring Floetry, Keith Robinson, High Priest from The Roots and even a spoken word, Peace, from actress Amber Tamblyn. Lovoka, that best-selling-caramel liqueur, is sponsoring Sarpong’s single release party next month. Brand manager for Lovoka says, “We feel Sam and his music represent the essence of living life which is part of our campaign slogan. Our target market is the same as Sam’s fan base. His involvement in TV, fashion and music makes a perfect sponsorship of his music career, not to mention he is an outstanding talent.”
The next day we go to the tee shirt company IVogue’s headquarters in Hollywood where Sarpong will be the first- ever male supermodel to have his own tee shirt. IVogue specializes in creating tee shirts featuring celebrities’ images such as Heidi Klum, Kate Moss and Bruce Lee. Sam is here to work with the designer on the look for his shirt, which will be released at the same time as his soon-to-be released single. The shirt will be available exclusively on Pheed.com on Sam’s page.
Last year Sarpong played the lead in the critically acclaimed Anchor Baby, which was screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. Currently gaining festival interest is the film Trigger, in which Sam stars with Beverly Hills 90210 star Matt Cohen. According to Dan Costanzo, president of Uplate Productions, “ Sam Sarpong is that breath of fresh air the entertainment industry’s been missing, – throw back entertainer who can act, rap and host. Like Sammy Davis, Frank Sinatra, he offers so much more on so many entertainment mediums. A new, hot, fresh look, something entertainment needs. I am very delighted to have him on board for several of our up coming projects in TV and film.
Sam’s busy week ends with an 11:00 pm Friday meeting at NBC Universal Studios with twin brothers Demitrius and Damian Jones of 51 Films. These Hollywood heavyweights are producing the horror film, Angel’s Landing, and Sarpong is here to talk of a possible role.
Hanging with Sam this week has shown me that Sam is treated like a star wherever he goes. The public is enchanted with him, TMZ follows him and throughout it all, Sam’s feet are planted firmly on the ground. Sam is one of the most genuinely nice guys that I have ever met. For this Sam gives credit to his parents who taught him and his sister, June, who is also in entertainment, to be real. We covered the gamut from fashion to music to TV and to movies from one end of Hollywood to the other. The scene was constantly changing, but what remained constant was Sam’s love of people and love of what he does, no matter the venue.
